HTHS is located on the campus of Brookdale Community College and is a specialized school that emphasizes the disciplines of science, mathematics, and technology in support of its pre-engineering career focus. We are very proud of our kids and we know you will be impressed when you meet them. Below is some information when scheduling a college visit to High Technology.
All requests should be made to Tara Bufis at tbufis@ctemc.org.
Calling for a visit is not encouraged as school is closed until the end of August and we do not want to miss your request. If you mailed a visit request to the school, please also send an email so it is received before we return.
College visits are scheduled from 11:15am - 12noon and we can accommodate 2 colleges/day. We do not hold cafeteria visits so your scheduled appointment will be in a conference room or classroom.
School starts on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Therefore, we will start college visits on Tuesday, September 13th so that we have enough time to promote your visit. HTHS will be closed on the following days: October 3, 10, 12 and Nov. 10, 11, 24, 25. On Fridays, half our seniors are out at Mentorship. So though you are welcome to come on a Friday, know that you might be missing some of the interested seniors.

Directions to High Tech
Our street address is 765 Newman Springs Rd. which is the address to Brookdale Community College (which is where HTHS is located). Signage is not great if you come in that entrance. It is best to follow the directions below:
Garden State Parkway North
get off at exit 109
take a left onto Newman Springs Rd.
take a left onto Phalanx Rd.
take a right when you see the Brookdale Community College sign
take first left directly after the "do not enter" sign onto Arena Dr.
turn right into HTHS parking lot and park in visitor parking
